Job Summary
Food Production Maintenance Tech on the Night Shift responsible for maintaining plant and warehouse equipment to ensure 100% uptime and uphold food-safety and GMP standards. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, collaborating with production to change over machines for maximum efficiency and minimal waste, participating in root cause analysis and quality improvement, and adhering to safety procedures in a cold, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requires 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a production setting with skills in motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatic systems, TIG welding and fabrication, HVAC/refrigeration, and strong communication.
Required Qualifications
- Prior maintenance experience in the food industry
- 2-5 years of experience in Maintenance in a production environment
- Mechanical troubleshooting: Motors, Gearboxes, Conveyors
- Pneumatic troubleshooting: Cylinders, Valves, Compressors
- Tig welding, fabrication, and other shop equipment
- Conveyors, drives and sprockets
- HVAC and Refrigeration
- High school diploma or a GED certificate
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must pay excellent attention to detail
