Job Summary
Prepare stuffed meat products in the stuffing room, including linking, tying, and hanging sausages. Assist with casing preparation, equipment setup, and supply restocking; conduct SPC weight checks when the line operator is unavailable. Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly dispose of rework; sanitize equipment (linker/clip machines) using approved methods. Ensure HACCP tagging and maintain documentation accuracy while following SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs, and MIOSHA safety standards in a refrigerated environment. Typical shift starts at 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday with 8–10 hour shifts; some weekend flexibility may be required. Must be 18+ and capable of physical, fast-paced work in a production setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Previous food production or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to lift and push up to 40 lbs., twist, bend, and stand for 8+ hours in a cold environment
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
- Reliable and committed to safety, cleanliness, and teamwork
