Food Production Coordinator

Supervise and monitor food service employee activities across patient, cafeteria, vending, and special functions to assure dietetic service standards are met. Maintain current records for diet orders and make necessary menu changes. Recommend appropriate staffing levels and evaluate employee performance for hiring, promotion, or disciplinary actions. Plan and conduct in-service training on new equipment and work procedures. Provide diet instructions to patients and significant others as assigned. Requisition supplies, check deliveries, and ensure proper storage in kitchen and patient areas. Requires high school graduate or GED with three years food service experience including therapeutic diet knowledge.
