Job Summary
Prepares meals daily for the Aging Services nutrition program, assembles and prepares ingredients according to the menu, and packages meals for transportation. Maintains kitchen sanitation and cleanliness to meet health standards. Assists in stocking food storage and inventory maintenance while adhering to all relevant laws and agency policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must not be excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid, or any other federal health care program.
- Must successfully obtain Criminal History Clearance from the PA State Police, Child Abuse Clearance from the PA Department of Human Services, and FBI Fingerprint Clearances.
- Demonstrated knowledge of institutional food preparation and equipment.
- Ability to assist, move, and/or transfer equipment and supplies weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to receive, understand, and communicate information effectively, and follow directions.
