Job Summary
Prepare, present, and deliver food to residents while maintaining a safe, clean kitchen and cafeteria environment. Assist with cleaning, stocking supplies, and operating dishwashing equipment. Greets and serves customers in the café, answering calls, processing purchases, and explaining menu items. Perform meal preparation duties including packing hot and cold meals and checking stock levels. Cross-train with other Nutritional Services staff and assist with Meals on Wheels preparation. This as-needed position requires a Food Handler Certification within one month.
Required Qualifications
- Must obtain Food Handler Certification from an ANSI accredited program within one month of hire and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 0 - 3 years of previous food service experience preferred
