Job Summary
Food Service Attendant at The Club inside BWI; prepares food for the lounge, maintains sanitation, serves beverages, stocks buffet, completes food safety logs, and supports overall food service operations. Requires ability to pass airport security background check, high school diploma or GED preferred, and flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends; strong customer-service and communication skills; knowledge of proper food handling procedures and government regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred
- Must be able to pass airport authority security background check
- Related background in customer service or restaurant/bar service
- Must be at least 18 or 21 years of age as applicable by law
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and possess verbal communication skills necessary to communicate with customers, passengers, and co-workers
- Able to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e. Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- Must be able to pass and obtain security background check and clearance to work in airport environment
