Job Summary
Manage daily pantry operations, including inventory, food deliveries, and volunteer scheduling. Oversee client intake, assist applicants with SNAP and Medicaid benefits, and maintain accurate household records. Conduct monthly USDA food inventories and coordinate pickups with suppliers while ensuring vehicle safety and compliance. Build partnerships with community agencies, schools, and government entities to expand resource reach. Report program data to leadership and the Board to drive continuous improvement. Serve as a community representative for food and nutrition services.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years food or customer service experience
- 1+ year supervisory experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license
- Car insurance
- A clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to safely operate a van or small box truck
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends, as needed
- Onsite work with lifting (up to 50 lbs.), standing, and local travel
- Demonstrated technological skills
- Capacity to learn new digital systems
- Ability to pass a background check, including criminal history and sex offender registry searches
