Job Summary
Set up serving areas and serve food to students and staff while performing cashiering duties for food item sales. Maintain cleanliness of food service facilities and follow procedures for sanitation standards. Operate cash registers as needed and assist with clean-up, dishmachine operation, and washing pots and pans. Produce, portion, garnish, and serve meals according to manager instructions. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Site Manager. Work 180 days with a 4.5-hour shift including a 30-minute lunch.
Required Qualifications
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to work quickly in a busy cafeteria
- Experience in cashiering or a willingness to learn
- Willingness to learn, try new ideas, and grow professionally
- The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or nonprescribed controlled substance abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the Corporation
Desired Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent desired
- Previous commercial food service experience desired
