Food & Nutrition Specialist

Provide assistance in all food functions following federal, state, and local standards for long-term care facilities. Assist in meal preparation, set up and deliver trays, check diet trays, and serve food in the dining room. Ensure supplies are available, clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and dishes, and handle garbage disposal. Distribute menus, prepare snacks, and maintain confidentiality of resident care information. Maintain care of supplies and perform regular inspections for sanitation and safety. Participate in mandatory in-service training and departmental projects as assigned.
