Job Summary
Support patient meal rounds by interacting directly with patients, assist with data collection for tray accuracy and missed meals, and help assemble comfort care boxes. Restock supplies, support pantry organization and checks, and assist with basic data entry or charting tasks depending on skillset. Additionally, help prepare patient flyers to advertise new meals and assist with department trainings and educational activities. This role requires a commitment of 3–4 hours weekly for at least six months, with shifts available Monday through Saturday. Applicants must be 16+, complete medical clearance including flu immunizations, and pass background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Age 16+
- Able to commit to a weekly 3–4 hour shift for at least 6 months
- Comfortable interacting with patients in a professional healthcare environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, compassionate, and team-oriented
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Available for Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 12 PM, 12 PM – 3 PM, 3 PM – 6 PM shifts
- Available for Saturday & Sunday, 9 AM – 1 PM shifts
- Available for the above shifts for 6 consecutive months
- Medical clearance (flu and other immunizations required)
- Background check & drug screen (18+ only)
