FOOD & NUTRITION AIDE

Load and operate dishwashers, prepare basic food items, and serve meals according to written instructions for patients and cafeteria customers. Clean work areas, store and label unused food, sweep floors, and perform special cleaning assignments as assigned. Act as cashier, stock bi-weekly deliveries using First In/First Out procedures, and document tasks on Infection Control forms. Maintain confidentiality of department data, follow federal and state sanitary regulations, and participate in performance improvement activities. Requires current IL ServSafe Food Protection Certification within one year, high school diploma, and minimum two years of food service experience. Demonstrates flexibility in work schedules and ability to prioritize tasks independently.
