Job Summary
Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the service team to the kitchen and prioritize ticket times to keep service moving. Assist with final plate preparation, verify food accuracy and temperature, and deliver food as needed to support fast, seamless service. Remove operational obstacles, maintain cleanliness standards, and communicate guest requests or concerns between dining and kitchen teams. This role requires previous restaurant experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift heavy trays while standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Guest-focused mindset with a positive attitude
- Current Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Food Expeditor or in a restaurant role preferred
- Understanding of restaurant health, safety, and sanitation standards
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
