Job Summary
Direct and oversee the Winnebago Food Distribution Program on the Winnebago Reservation, directing budgeting, procurement, storage, inventory control, certification, and distribution activities in compliance with USDA/FNS regulations. Responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising staff (6-10), ensuring accurate product ordering, maintaining central warehouse stock, preparing reports, managing program finances, and coordinating with local agencies. Emphasizes program efficacy, customer service, data accuracy, and adherence to applicable laws and tribal policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Knowledge of USDA and Food & Nutrition Service regulations
- Excellent computer skills
- Experience with food distribution, retail, inventory, or related software programs
- Leadership and supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license and insurability under Tribe policy
- Ability to adhere to confidentiality principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
