Food Counter Attendant

Bring clean dishes, flatware, and items to serving areas to set tables, carry and replace linen, and clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs. Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, then place items in storage or replenish condiments at serving areas. Sanitize items by hand, scour pots and pans, and clean and sanitize the kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, and appliances. Take customers' orders, serve at counters or buffet tables, and package or portion take-out food. Keep records of food quantities used, receive and unpack supplies, and remove kitchen garbage. Sweep, mop, and polish floors while handling heavy loads in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
