Job Summary
Manage projects and activities related to the organization's food systems priorities as part of supply chain transformation and climate mitigation strategies. Promote health care commitments to advance climate action through initiatives like the Coolfood pledge and US Food Waste Pact, including resource development and participant support. Create, update, and refine tools such as how-to guides, tool kits, and checklists to support food initiatives within health care organizations. Engage hospital food service staff, supply chain stakeholders, and community partners to implement best practices in food purchasing and menu operations. Collaborate with Practice Greenhealth and internal teams to design collective actions addressing climate mitigation, resilience, and equity. Contribute to a culture emphasizing strategic prioritization, flexibility, and continuous improvement.
