Job Summary
Food Clerk duties in Taber: provide friendly customer service in the grocery department, stock shelves and ensure proper product placement, receive and unload deliveries, maintain clean aisles and displays, follow food safety/sanitation rules, assist with inventory and merchandising plans, educate customers about South Country Co-op membership, and collaborate with the team to meet customer needs and store policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 15 years of age and completed Grade 9
- Previous grocery or retail experience is an asset
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks safely
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- High level of integrity and a strong work ethic
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Detail-oriented and able to manage time effectively
- Work Schedule: full availability including weekdays and weekends
