Job Summary
Food Cashier responsible for excellent guest service by taking guest orders and entering through the POS system, delivering food orders to dining room guests, and keeping products stocked. Assist to create a fun, exciting entertainment experience and an engaging, inclusive work environment. Essential duties include taking orders, processing payments via POS, handling money accurately, providing information about LRCR events and services, maintaining restaurant areas, and performing cashiering, hosting, and room-service delivery as needed. Must complete training, adhere to safety rules, and follow emergency and health & safety programs. Qualifications include Michigan TAM certification or obtaining within 60 days, ServSafe certification within 90 days, 18+ years old, and experience in a Tribally run casino/resort preferred. Skills emphasize guest service, money-handling, communication, teamwork, confidentiality, independence, and ability to handle paperwork; physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and ability to perform repetitive motions.
Required Qualifications
- Michigan TAM certification or must obtain within 60 days of employment
- ServSafe Certification within 90-days and maintain throughout employment
- Experience working with a Tribally run casino and/or resort preferred
- Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age
