Job Summary
Deliver guest experience commitments by ensuring team members understand and consistently execute Target's guest experience standards. Plan and execute daily and weekly workloads to support Food & Beverage priorities, including merchandising, pricing, and promotional signing processes. Lead a team of hourly members through huddles, training, coaching, and performance evaluations while holding them accountable to goals. Maintain a fresh, full, and food-safe area by managing inventory, placing store-initiated orders, and adhering to Food Safety policies. Collaborate with store leadership to influence sales performance and uphold brand standards for vendors and partners like Starbucks and Pizza Hut.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail and/or food experience
- Strong interest and knowledge of the Food & Beverage business
- Lead and hold others accountable
- Communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Effective communication skills
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Interpret instructions, reports and information
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders if needed
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds without additional assistance from others
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); reliable and prompt attendance necessary
- Ability to work in environments that will include refrigeration and freezer temperatures and conditions; where common allergens may also be handled or present
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties, including but not limited to Drive-Ups, carryout, etc.
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shifts (shift length may vary)
