Job Summary

Conduct daily shift walks on the dining room floor during meal service to interact with members and guests, ensuring quality and execution meet standards. Supervise department members including servers, bartenders, and food runners while managing inventory, maintaining par levels, and overseeing banquet functions. Assist in interviewing, hiring, training, and directing associates, addressing complaints and resolving problems to ensure sanitation standards are consistently met. Complete reports on production and necessary requisitions, monitor business volume forecasts to plan manpower and costs, and inspect the facility for maintenance or repair needs. Maintain regular attendance and incorporate safe work practices while representing the organization professionally to employees, clients, and vendors.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • ServSafe Certified (Food Manager & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
  • Frequently stands, walks, talks and hears
  • Regularly uses hands, reaches with hands and arms
  • Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, taste or smells
  • Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds
  • Occasionally works in extreme heat, wet or humid conditions (non-weather)
  • Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions
  • Demonstrates Leadership ability including skills to communicate and express ideas and directives clearly to associates
  • Strong problem analysis and problem resolution skills
  • Strong multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills
  • High level of active listening skills and strong client service skills which includes the ability to resolve issues/complaints with tact and diplomacy

Desired Qualifications

  • one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of wine, spirits and regional cuisines
