Job Summary

Oversee daily operations of The Westgate Hotel's food and beverage outlets, including Room Service, Pool Bar, Westgate Room, and Plaza Bar. Provide hands-on leadership to service colleagues, maintain visible floor presence, and ensure consistent execution of service standards. Coach team members, review guest checks for accuracy, and manage inventory control while utilizing POS systems like InfoGenesis and SevenRooms. Address guest concerns promptly and escalate operational issues to management as needed. Support revenue growth through guest engagement and promotions. Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3–5 years of Food & Beverage experience
  • Current Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification
  • Current Food Handler Card/Certificate
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing 20–50 pounds or more as needed
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach overhead, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday
  • Ability to remain mobile throughout food and beverage outlets while monitoring operations and assisting guests
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment with frequent guest and team member interaction
  • Non-exempt hourly position status

Desired Qualifications

  • Hospitality, Hotel Management, Restaurant Management, or related education
  • At least one year in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong understanding of full-service restaurant and hotel food and beverage operations
  • Knowledge of proper table service, sequence of service, and mise en place standards
  • Previous experience leading, training, and supporting team members in a hospitality environment
  • Strong customer service skills with a commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to motivate and influence team members while maintaining accountability
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment
  • Proficiency with POS systems
  • InfoGenesis experience
  • SevenRooms or hotel reservation system experience
