Job Summary
Part-time Food & Beverage Storeperson at Fairmont Royal York in Toronto responsible for assisting the Stores Manager with daily store operations, verifying food, beverage and general supplies, moving stock between Receiving, Stores and kitchens while maintaining the cold chain, and ensuring timely distribution and accurate documentation. Responsibilities include rotating stock with date stamping, conducting inventories, issuing requisitions, using the BirchStreet procurement system, daily store cleaning, and participating in hotel committees and events. Requires some food knowledge, computer experience, attention to detail, physical stamina for lifting and carts, and adherence to Health & Safety regulations. Starting rate of pay is $22.79 per hour, with wage increase after six months; benefits include free meals, travel discounts, dry cleaning, and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications

- General knowledge of food and beverage specifications and quality standards
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Frequent lifting up to 20 kgs and cart handling up to 250 kgs
- Familiarity with Bir Street Procurement system or similar
- Compliance with Health and Safety regulations
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
