Job Summary
Greet guests, inquire about beverage choices, and present menus while serving drinks and food, checking for reorders. Mix and pour cocktails, beer, and wine, then clear unwanted plates, present checks, and thank patrons. Maintain a clean and orderly bar and tables by wiping surfaces, arranging stools, shining stainless steel, and cleaning glassware. Assist other servers with seating and first drink orders as needed. Represent the golf club professionally, ensuring guests feel comfortable and welcome. Adhere to the On-Call Employee Policy and complete daily cleaning tasks including floor and drain maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- 3+ years experienced in food & beverage service
- Up-to-date Clark County health card
- Up-to-date City TAM card
- Ability to perform moderate physical work, may be required to lift 100 lbs. occasionally, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 20 lbs. constantly, performing such activities as bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, lifting, and grasping for up to five hours without sitting
- Must be able to lift 100 lbs. occasionally, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 20 lbs. constantly
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a upscale bar, country club, or restaurant
- Previous experience in banquet service
