Job Summary

Supervise guest service and dining operations at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel Nashville. Conduct rounds to ensure cleanliness, organization, proper maintenance, and adequate supplies; monitor staff adherence to service standards and SOPs; assist Team Leader with guest service signals, menu classes, taste panels, and month-end inventory. Manage cash handling, balance bank per SOP, and coordinate with the restaurant manager on events and house counts. Read daily shift sheets, prepare the following shift sheet, schedule staff, and maintain floor coverage. Communicate with Team Leader and personnel about safety, training, and events; ensure proper handling of guest checks and cash transactions; step in to cover gaps as needed. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Strong organizational and decision-making abilities; Knowledge of MSDS and safety practices; TABC permit or ability to obtain one. Required Qualifications

  • Food & Beverage knowledge required
  • F&B Supervisory/Leadership experience preferred
  • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to make decisions on imperfect information
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred
  • TABC permit, or ability to obtain a valid TABC permit
