Job Summary
Food & Beverage Manager at Waynesborough Country Club to oversee daily front-of-house operations across all dining outlets (Fairway Grille, Pub, Terrace, Pool Snack Bar, Halfway House), ensure staffing and service standards, supervise events and member experiences, lead staff development and training, coordinate with culinary team, manage scheduling and labor budgets, maintain POS accuracy and sanitation, and ensure health, safety, and liquor regulations while contributing to leadership planning and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive food and beverage management experience in a private club, resort, hotel, or upscale restaurant environment
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing service teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with members, guests, and employees
- Thorough understanding of dining room operations, banquet service, staff training, and service standards
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with scheduling, labor management, and operational controls
- Technologically proficient with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems; experience with Jonas Club Software preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
