Job Summary
Oversee food and beverage department activities under the department head, ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards. Interview, train, supervise, coach, schedule, and manage staff to maintain high standards of food quality, service, and marketing that maximize profits and insure outstanding customer service. Requires two to three years of fine dining experience and two years in banquet management. This temporary seasonal role at Morningstar Buoy Haus Beach Resort in St. Thomas supports Davidson Hospitality Group's mission to deliver exceptional hospitality across US venues.
Required Qualifications
- Read, write and speak English
- Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable
- Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
- No employee will pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others
- Pre-employment drug test and background check required
- We participate in E-Verify
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer two to three years of fine dining experience
- Prefer two years banquet management experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees
- Previous supervisory/management skills and experience
- Requires 8th grade math level
- Requires high school reasoning level
- Requires 12th grade language use level
