Food & Beverage Manager

Job Summary
Oversee all food and beverage operations across the Deerfield Pub, banquets, events, tournaments, and on-course services; lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of supervisors and service staff; manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls to meet financial targets; monitor labour, food, and beverage costs; collaborate with the Executive Chef on menus, pricing, and seasonal offerings; partner with the Event Coordinator to execute events, banquets, and tournaments; ensure compliance with food safety, liquor service, and occupational health & safety standards; participate in recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management; act as a hands-on leader during peak service periods and events; require flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in food and beverage management, hospitality, or club operations
- Proven leadership experience in a service-focused environment
- Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards, inventory management, and cost control
- Valid food safety and liquor service certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- A natural ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
