Job Summary
Oversee daily Food and Beverage operations across Room Service, Lounge, and Banquet outlets, ensuring attentive, friendly, and efficient service while maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming. Manage F&B personnel through training, coaching, counseling, and discipline according to company standards, including conducting interviews, performance appraisals, and weekly staff meetings. Prepare shift schedules based on business forecasts and payroll budgets, compile wage reports for Accounting, and conduct monthly beverage inventories and reconciliations. Monitor food sales accuracy, manage cash overages and shortages, and ensure compliance with all safety certifications and operating policies. Analyze POS reports, complete quarterly menu and equipment inventory analyses, and implement promotional strategies to drive sales and meet budget targets.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
- 2-year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience
- 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems
- Proficiency in company approved spreadsheets
- Proficiency in word processing
- Supervisory experience
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Ability to be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to assimilate complex information data etc from disparate sources and consider adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need
- Ability to be effective at listening to understanding clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Ability to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions
