Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage department, including a high-volume complimentary breakfast, Placery lobby bar, 24/7 Market, specialty coffee program, CityBar rooftop bar, and banquet services. Personally respond to all guest comments and complaints, supervise purchasing and inventory functions, and train staff on job competency and brand standards. Monitor kitchen and dining areas for sanitation safety, implement staffing levels based on weekly forecasts, and review standards to ensure compliance with hotel and brand requirements. Drive revenue growth through strategic promotions, event programming, and cost controls while managing labor productivity. Work 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, with schedules accommodating fluctuating business demands.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of food & beverage management experience in a restaurant, hotel, rooftop bar, or high-volume hospitality environment
- Experience managing bar operations and beverage programs
- Strong knowledge of labor management, inventory controls, food cost analysis, and revenue optimization
- Certified Food Manager
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Ability to motivate and train employees in guest services
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with banquet and catering operations preferred
- Hyatt experience preferred but not required
