Job Summary
Oversee daily food and beverage operations across outlets, banquets, and room service while managing budgets, payroll, and inventory. Direct at least three full-time associates, conduct interviews, and manage performance appraisals. Forecast sales, analyze reports, and implement promotions to drive revenue. Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, training protocols, and company policies. Coordinate with department heads on emergency procedures and equipment purchases. This role supports Aimbridge Hospitality's global management of over 1,550 hotels, focusing on exceptional guest service and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
- 2-year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience
- 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems
- Proficiency in Company approved spreadsheets
- Proficiency in word processing
- Supervisory experience
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Ability to be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to assimilate complex information data etc from disparate sources and consider adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need
- Ability to be effective at listening to understanding clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Ability to work with and understand financial information and data
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic functions
