Job Summary
The Food & Beverage Lead is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and stocked foodservice area in a United Dairy Farmers store. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with food safety standards, preparing food and beverage items, providing guest services, managing stock, and operating the Point-of-Sale system. The position requires effective communication with customers, training of associates, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Food Leads must also ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the foodservice area while handling cash transactions accurately. The role supports the execution of foodservice programs and aims to enhance customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to become Food Safety certified
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle currency and make change
- Ability to recognize numbers and count accurately
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to shelves
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level

- Food Leads must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales
