Job Summary
The Food & Beverage Lead is responsible for executing a safe and clean foodservice area at a United Dairy Farmers store, providing outstanding guest service according to the UDF Hi Five Guest Experience. Key responsibilities include maintaining food safety standards, preparing food items such as sandwiches and ice cream, managing foodservice supplies, ensuring cleanliness in all foodservice areas, and training associates. The role requires effective communication skills, attention to detail in food preparation, and the ability to handle transactions and guest interactions efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively.
- Ability to become Food Safety certified.
- Ability to see to operate store equipment and check identification documents.
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment.
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, and credit transactions accurately.
- Ability to recognize numbers, count, and perform arithmetic for records completion.
- Ability to move merchandise for display purposes.
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to low temperatures and lift weights as outlined.
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally qualified to conduct sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco.
- Ability to become Food Safety certified subject to UDF, state food safety regulations.
