Job Summary
The Host welcomes guests as the first and last impression of the dining experience at Archer Hotel Austin. Responsibilities include greeting guests, making reservations via OpenTable, answering phones professionally, taking feedback, delivering items from kitchen/bar to tables, clearing and resetting tables, organizing reservations and floor plans, printing and maintaining menus, handling amenity processes, memorizing the food, cocktail and wine lists, processing in-room dining and takeout orders by phone, and performing tasks requested by management. The ideal candidate is a energetic, reliable team player who communicates well, can work independently or with others, and can stand for long shifts. At least two years’ prior experience is a plus. - Two years of previous experience in Food & Beverage/Host role (preferred)
