Job Summary
Direct and organize all Food and Beverage outlets including the restaurant, room service, market, lounge, and banquet operations to ensure high-quality food product and efficient service. Supervise kitchen staff, oversee banquet food display and merchandising, and guide the Chef on assignments such as pricing. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety across all service stations, FOH, BOH, and storage areas while minimizing waste and maximizing cost/production ratios. Plan meals and service, manage payroll and overhead costs, and continuously improve guest and employee satisfaction. This high-impact Executive Committee member role supports the newest luxury boutique hotel campus in Silicon Valley, featuring distinct dining destinations and immersive art spaces.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
- 2-year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience
- 4-year college degree and at least 1 to 2 years of related experience
- Culinary Degree with 1 to 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- Holds and maintains applicable certification requirements for position to include: Food Handlers Alcohol Awareness CPR and First Aid
- Must be proficient in Windows operating systems
- Company approved spreadsheets
- Word processing
- Extensive experience in restaurant

- Extensive experience in banquet
- Extensive experience in catering
- Extensive experience in room dining
- Extensive experience in kitchen management
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
