Job Summary
Food & Beverage Day Lodge Manager leads 6-12 staff in a fast-paced hospitality setting, overseeing scheduling, payroll, cash and inventory management, and administrative duties while ensuring safe, compliant service of alcohol and high guest satisfaction. The role trains and supports venue staff, communicates with management, coaches team members one-on-one, manages risk and facility upkeep, participates in weekly manager meetings, and utilizes Toast or similar POS systems. Requires 3+ years in full-service restaurant management, knowledge of beer, wine & spirits, experience with large seasonal staff, and Serving It Right certification; must be 19+ and able to handle cash, budgets, and period workloads.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment in a leadership role
- Min 3yrs+ experience in full-service restaurant management
- Adequate knowledge of Beer, Wine & Spirits
- Experience in managing/working with a large group of seasonal staff
- High knowledge of computers and Toast systems (or other POS systems)
- Bartending and serving experience an asset
- Serving It Right Certificate
- Must be 19 years old
- Duties and abilities include: Communicate with Management team, Maintain high level of attention to detail in written and verbal correspondence, Performs daily administrative duties relating to payroll, event management, ordering and requisitions, Strong management of budgets and labour costing as well as food and beverage costing
- Be on feet for extended periods of time
- Able to Lift 50lbs and bend and push repeatedly
