Job Summary
Deliver excellent dining service, assist with food preparation including plating and preparing simple items, and help set up and pack down dining areas and events. Use the POS system to take orders while providing friendly, attentive, and personalised service to residents. Serve meals and drinks throughout service times, ensuring every dining experience is welcoming and enjoyable. Build meaningful connections with residents, fostering a sense of community and belonging. This permanent part-time role at Lindsay Gardens Retirement Living supports our residents and fosters meaningful connections in a peaceful retreat on 7 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds in Buderim.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) COVID-19 vaccinations
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, people-focused attitude
- Genuine passion for customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Genuine interest in connecting with residents
- Enthusiasm for working in retirement living
