Job Summary
Conduct full service dining by courteously taking and serving orders in courses, clearing each course before the next is brought out, and resetting tables after every meal. Actively participate in assigned opening, continuous, and closing side work, including various housekeeping duties. Enthusiastically greet guests, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and drinks while ensuring an enjoyable experience for residents. This per diem role supports both daily dining and catered events at a retirement community in Central New York, with 4-8pm availability preferred and shifts varying.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language
- Ability to adapt to changes in schedule to meet resident needs
- Available to work special events, weekends, evenings and a portion of some observed holidays
- 4-8pm availability preferred
- Reliable transportation

- High School diploma or GED not required
