Job Summary
Prepares beverages and supports meal service for residents and guests, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary dining and bistro/bar environment. Responsibilities include setting dining room tables, taking food orders, delivering service promptly and courteously, anticipating resident needs, maintaining dining and bar areas per infection control standards, delivering carts to designated areas, returning carts to the kitchen, disposing of trash properly, cleaning dining areas and equipment, washing bar glassware, and performing other related duties as assigned. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions, communicate effectively with residents and teammates, demonstrate professionalism and compassion, stay organized, prioritize tasks, build positive working relationships, and manage time efficiently. Education: High school diploma or GED required; experience in healthcare, hospitality, or institutional food service preferred. Licenses/Certifications: Ability to obtain TIPS or other beverage service certification as required.
