Job Summary
Deliver budgeted revenue, GOP, and productivity targets across gaming and bar operations while growing market share through a venue-specific marketing and operational plan. Lead service standards to build loyalty and manage relationships with Licensed Monitoring Operators and external gaming partners. Plan and execute gaming promotions that drive revenue while maintaining responsible gaming standards and overseeing daily bar operations to maximize profitability. Ensure full compliance with Queensland liquor and gaming legislation, OLGR requirements, and the Responsible Gambling Code of Practice. Lead, coach, and develop the TC's team, managing recruitment, onboarding, training, and succession planning. Maintain operational excellence across gaming machines, floats, surveillance, and compliance documentation. This role requires RSA and RSG certification, commercial acumen to own a P&L, and availability across a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in a licensed bar and gaming venue, or a high-volume Food & Beverage outlet
- Current RSA and RSG certification, and RMLV (or the ability to obtain prior to commencement)
- Working knowledge of Queensland liquor and gaming legislation and OLGR requirements
- Commercial acumen — you can own a P&L, roster to budget and explain a variance
- Experience planning and executing gaming promotions within regulatory requirements
- Confidence managing problem gambling matters sensitively and in line with the Responsible Gambling Code of Practice
- A track record of leading, coaching and developing teams, including performance management and succession planning
- Strong systems literacy across POS administration, stocktakes, reporting and audit documentation
- High emotional intelligence, self-awareness and interpersonal skills, with the ability to stay organised across competing priorities
- Availability across a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays
