Job Summary
Prepare and cook menu items using standardized recipes while ensuring proper portion control and presentation. Operate kitchen tools and appliances safely, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and workstations. Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries, monitor inventory for shortages or spoilage, and follow all food safety guidelines and health regulations. Support banquet and event preparation as needed and collaborate with staff for smooth service. Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Cook and/or Food and Beverage Manager. This role requires physical stamina for standing and lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- Must be physically able to operate a variety of automated office machines including typewriters, cash registers, calculators, etc.
- Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work
- Light Work usually requires walking or standing to a significant degree
Desired Qualifications
- Graduation from high school
- 1-2 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations
