Job Summary
Food and Nutritional Services Manager oversees the overall coordination of the Food and Nutritional Services program at the Boston Living Center. Responsible for menu development, purchasing, nutrition counseling, individualized nutrition plans, coordinating nutrition programs with the Psychosocial Support Nutritionist, supervising staff (Chef, Sous Chef, Nutritionist) and volunteers, ensuring regulatory compliance, budgeting for meals, inventory management, reporting to funders, crisis intervention as appropriate, and collaborating with community health partners. Requires licensure/certification as a dietitian or nutritionist, strong leadership and organizational skills, experience in clinical/nutritional services for people with chronic health conditions, and ability to work with a diverse client base. On-site full-time position with salary of $72,420.40 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Registered/Licensed Dietitian or Nutritionist required
- Minimum 2 years managerial experience preferred
- Knowledge of menu planning, implementation, and design
- Must obtain and maintain ServSafe Manager certification
- CPR certification (may be obtained upon hire)
- TB screening (may be obtained upon hire)
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations
