Food and Nutrition Services Worker - 7.5 hrs/day (190 days/school year calendar)

Assist in setting up service areas, portioning, and serving food items while cleaning and storing kitchen equipment. May support cooks with complex recipe assembly, heat convenience foods, and utilize various food service equipment for preparation, service, and cleanup. Control food and supply costs through proper handling, storage techniques, and portion control while maintaining sanitation, safety, and food quality standards. Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members to maintain positive public relations with students, parents, faculty, and the community. Cover buildings other than the assigned one when required. Perform other duties as assigned. Requires high school diploma or GED.
