Food and Nutrition Services Head Cook - 7.5 hrs/day (190 days/school year)

Serve breakfasts and lunches meeting federal, state, and district requirements while overseeing food service activities at the Hayes Elementary satellite location. Order foods and supplies, supervise food service personnel, and maintain records for production, payroll, and attendance. Control food and supply costs through inventory management, proper storage, and portion control while ensuring sanitation and safety standards. Inspect equipment periodically and communicate with students, faculty, parents, and supervisors to maintain public relations. Assist the manager in monitoring site performance and developing improvement strategies to integrate the nutrition program into the educational mission.
