Food and Nutrition Services Cook for North High School (Davenport Community School District), 7.5 hours per day, 190 days per school year. Prepares foods using standardized recipes and proper kitchen equipment, assists in setting up service areas, portioning and serving, operates and maintains sanitation and safety standards, helps control food costs and stock, communicates effectively with staff and students, assists the manager and head cook in directing Food Service personnel, and supports production and service of catered functions. Requires the ability to plan workload, coordinate production, complete production records, and adapt to potential responsibilities across buildings as needed. The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to ServSafe guidelines (preferred), and maintaining quality and public relations with students, faculty, and the community.
