Operate a point of sale computer terminal to document daily sales and compile bank deposits while maintaining accurate records of student meals, adult meals, and milk sales. Monitor meal selections to guarantee compliance with federal School meal standards and assist with garbage removal, cleaning, and food preparation. Maintain standards of sanitation and safety throughout the cafeteria, communicating effectively with students, faculty, parents, and supervisors. Work 5.75 hours per day from 7:15 am to 1:00 pm across the 190-day school year at Jackson Elementary. Rate of pay is $15.96/hr. A high school diploma or GED is required, with computer experience preferred.
