Food and Nutrition Services Cashier I - 7 hrs/day (190 days/school year calendar)

Operate a point of sale computer terminal to document daily sales and maintain accurate records of student meals, adult meals, prepayments, and milk sales. Charge correct prices, make accurate change, and compile daily bank deposits while monitoring meal selections for federal compliance. Assist with garbage removal, cleaning, food preparation, and setting up service areas to maintain sanitation and safety standards. Communicate effectively with students, faculty, parents, and supervisors. Cover in buildings other than the assigned one if required. Perform duties in accordance with the Cashier Handbook. High school diploma or GED required; computer experience preferred.
