Job Summary
Support all aspects of F&B operations and processes to run smoothly, including personally greeting guests, managing table service, order taking, and bar service. Lead the team by example to ensure quality standards, sequence of service, and immaculate grooming are executed, while maintaining the booking and stock management systems. Manage the Point of Sale system, troubleshoot issues, and complete venue opening and closing checklists. Handle guest complaints, escalate as needed, and gather feedback for continual improvement. Train new starters, cross-train existing team members, and foster a positive workplace culture. Adhere to all food safety standards, manage dietary requirements, and maintain open communication with relevant departments.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of relevant experience in food & beverage
- Demonstrated leadership potential
- Demonstrable expertise in facilitating general food and beverage procedures and processes
- Experience using Point of Sale system
- Experience executing sequence of service
- Strong food & beverage knowledge
- Strong coffee knowledge
- Strong wine knowledge
- Strong cocktail knowledge
- Ability to physically meet demands including constant standing & walking
- Ability to frequently lift and move objects up to 20 kgs
- Exceptional grooming
- Appropriate uniform and name badge
- Exceptional communication skills
- Spoken and written English at a proficient level
- Multilingual ability (viewed as an advantage, but context implies requirement for proficiency)
- Adherence to TFE Food Safety and HACCP standards
- Knowledge of temperature recording
- Knowledge of sanitization practices
- Knowledge of beverage storage
- Knowledge of garnish storage
- Knowledge of allergen matrix
