Job Summary
Take charge of all day-time conferencing and evening functions, ensuring each event runs smoothly from start to finish. Meet and greet conference organisers, act as the primary point of contact during your shift, and liaise with the Sales team to align on operational requirements. Attend event order meetings to anticipate staffing needs while maintaining a clean, safe environment that adheres to all workplace health and safety guidelines. Manage rosters, timesheets, and cashiering procedures in compliance with established policies, ensuring superior service standards and equipment maintenance. You must hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate and be flexible with morning and weekend shifts. Join a close-knit team at this stylish, recently refurbished hotel overlooking the Southern Parklands.
Required Qualifications
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Full knowledge of and practice of all of the hotel's established workplace health and safety guidelines (WH&S)
- Adherence to all established cashiering policies and procedures
- Ability to anticipate and attend to the guest's needs and desires immediately
- Maintenance of appearance in accordance with the hotel's grooming standards
- Mature approach to work and to colleagues
- Maintenance of superior levels of food and beverage service to hotel guests
- Good sense of humour
- Flexibility with working hours which include morning and weekend shifts
