Job Summary
Provide immediate attention to all guests upon seating, describe specials, answer menu questions, and offer suggestions. Take food and beverage orders, deliver items promptly after preparation, and follow up to ensure satisfaction while replenishing items as needed. Participate in pre-shift meetings and taste tests, maintain an organized workstation, and perform side duties. Accountable for checks and cash transactions using the Point of Sale System, follow established standards for greeting and service techniques, practice tray service, and incorporate safe work practices. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, food safety and alcohol awareness training, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
- Food Safety and Sanitation Training
- Alcohol Awareness Training
- Ability to read and speak English
- Knowledge of POS system
- Frequently stands and walks
- Uses hands
- Reaches with arms and hands
- Stoops, kneels, crawls, or crouches
- Talks
- Hears
- Occasionally sits
- Climbs, or balances
- Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance
