Job Summary
Prep Cook responsible for preparing food for events (cutting, chopping, peeling) and plating for buffet presentation; assist with processing deliveries, maintain safe and sanitary galley operations, and ensure safety/sanitation standards aboard a marine vessel. Duties include stocking from deliveries, following production guidelines, labeling/date-storing foods, monitoring work areas, cleaning/organizing storage, and reporting equipment repairs. Requires 1–2 years kitchen prep experience, knowledge of sanitation codes, California Food Handlers certificate, ability to obtain TWIC and MMC, and English communication; physical ability to work in a marine environment and adhere to RESPECT values. Inspires learning and growth within a team environment.
Required Qualifications

- Able to obtain TWIC and MMC certification
- Must be able to understand and communicate with English speaking crew
