Job Summary
Food and Beverage Operative at AX Hotels Sliema, Malta, to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a premier hospitality environment. Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing reservations and seating, addressing guest inquiries, coordinating with kitchen and service teams, overseeing table setup and cleanliness, assisting with dining service protocols, monitoring dining resources and inventory, collecting guest feedback for improvements, ensuring health and safety compliance, and performing administrative tasks related to dining services. Requires at least 2 years in F&B or similar hospitality role, strong English communication, teamwork, willingness to work varied shifts, and knowledge of food safety/hygiene; Forbes standards experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Food & Beverage or similar hospitality role is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the same position is required.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards; certifications in these areas will be considered a plus.
